What does the RTC4490 transfer box differential gear kit do?
The RTC4490 kit renews the centre differential gear set inside the LT230 transfer box. The centre differential splits drive between the front and rear output shafts, which is what gives permanent four wheel drive. The kit restores the designed gear mesh within the transfer case.
Has RTC4490 been replaced by another part number?
