Intercooler slang voor het 200 TDi 2.5L turbodiesel laadluchtsysteem (niet-katalysatorconfiguratie).

De slang transporteert onder druk staande laadlucht tussen de turbocompressor en de intercooler, waar de gecomprimeerde inlaatlucht wordt gekoeld voordat deze het inlaatspruitstuk bereikt. De slang is gevormd om te passen bij de routing van de niet-katalysatorinstallatie en moet afdichten tegen de turbodruk, terwijl deze bestand is tegen de hitte van de laadlucht.

Een gescheurde of versleten slang veroorzaakt een turbodruklekkage, met vermogensverlies en zwarte rook bij acceleratie.
