Voorste aandrijfas - Rechts voor de vroege Discovery 1, die de aandrijving van het voordifferentieel overbrengt naar het rechtervoorwielhuis.

De aandrijfas loopt door de voorasbuis, met het binnenste uiteinde in de differentieelzijkant versplinterd en het buitenste uiteinde in de Birfield homokinetische koppeling in het draaihuis versplinterd. Dit geheel brengt het koppel over op de wielnaaf en vangt tegelijkertijd de volledige stuuruitslag en asarticulatie op. Geldt voor voertuigen tot VIN JA032850.
