Afdichting uitgaande flensvertanding voor de tussenbak. Deze dicht de uitgaande as af waar de aandrijfflens van de cardanas op de vertanding wordt gemonteerd, waardoor de olie in de tussenbak blijft en vuil en water uit het lager en het vertandingsvlak worden gehouden.

Gemonteerd op de voorste en achterste uitgaande behuizingen van de tussenbak. Altijd vervangen wanneer de aandrijfflens wordt verwijderd of wanneer er olielekkage wordt geconstateerd bij de uitgaande as.

What does the RTC6363 transfer box seal do?
The RTC6363 seals the transfer box output shaft where the propshaft drive flange mounts onto the splines. It retains the transfer case oil and keeps dirt and water out of the bearing and spline interface.
How many RTC6363 seals are needed?
On the Range Rover P38 the transfer box uses the RTC6363 at both the front and rear output flanges, so two are needed per vehicle. On Range Rover Classic it's typically used at the front output flange, so check which output you're sealing.
When should the RTC6363 seal be replaced?
Replace the RTC6363 whenever the drive flange is removed or if you find oil weeping at the transfer box output shaft. A worn or hardened seal lets the oil leak past the spline interface, so it's renewed as standard during flange or propshaft work.
Which vehicles does the RTC6363 fit?
The RTC6363 fits the Range Rover Classic (front flange up to VIN HA610293, and front housing from VIN JA610294 on 1992 to 1994 builds) and the Range Rover P38 (1994 to 2001, front and rear flanges). Check your VIN, as the application splits by build.
