Carburateursproeiernaald voor de 3.5L V8 benzine twin-carburateurmotor. De conische naald zit in de carburateurzuiger en beweegt in de sproeier, waar het profiel de brandstofstroom afmeet tegen de luchtstroom wanneer de zuiger op en neer gaat.

De conus van de naald bepaalt de brandstoftoevoer over het gehele toerentalbereik, dus een versleten of onjuiste naald verstoort het lucht/brandstofmengsel en de motorloop. Vervang bij een revisie of bij het opnieuw profileren van de carburateurs tijdens een afstelling.
