De achterremklauw - links maakt deel uit van de achterremmontage en wordt over de linker achterremschijf van het voertuig gemonteerd.

De remklauw bevat de zuigers die de remblokken tegen de schijf drukken onder hydraulische druk van het remcircuit, waarbij de lijndruk wordt omgezet in de klemkracht die het wiel vertraagt. Deze wordt gevoed door de achterremslang en ontlucht via de geïntegreerde ontluchtingsnippel.
