The STC1264R is the right-hand rear brake caliper for Land Rovers with solid (non-vented) rear discs. It houses the hydraulic piston that clamps the brake pads against the disc at the right rear wheel. It bolts to the rear axle and works off the master cylinder and servo pressure.

Which Land Rovers does the STC1264R rear caliper fit?

The STC1264R fits the right rear of the Defender 90 (1983-2016, solid discs), Discovery 1 (1989-1998, non-ABS), and Range Rover Classic with solid rear discs. Defender 90 from 2007 applies from VIN 7A000001. It's the right-hand side only, for solid not vented discs.
