Geleidepen set voor de remklauwen vooraan voor de remklauwen van de schijfrem vooraan. De geleidepennen laten de zwevende remklauw over de drager zweven, zodat de remklauw zichzelf kan centreren over de schijf terwijl de remblokken slijten en gelijkmatige druk uitoefenen op beide remblokken.
