Deze ring dicht de banjo-aansluiting tussen het stuurhuis en de hogedruktoevoerleiding af, waardoor vloeistoflekkage bij de verbinding wordt voorkomen. Het is een eenmalig te gebruiken afdichting en dient te worden vervangen telkens wanneer de banjobout wordt losgemaakt om een betrouwbare, lekvrije verbinding te garanderen.
