Description:
Spanrol voor V-riem voor de 2.5L 6-cilinder BMW-dieselmotor (M51).

Deze spanrol handhaaft de juiste spanning op de V-riem, die de dynamo, de visco-ventilator en andere hulpcomponenten aandrijft. Het veermechanisme dempt schommelingen in de riemspanning veroorzaakt door veranderingen in het motortoerental en variërende belastingen, waardoor doorslippen van de riem en voortijdige slijtage wordt voorkomen. Het werkt samen met de spanrolbeugelconstructie op de BMW M51-motor.
