What is the TF140VALVE?
The TF140VALVE is the replacement charging valve for the Terrafirma TF140 hydraulic bump stop. It's the port through which the monotube, nitrogen-charged unit is pressurised, and it holds that charge in service on Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic applications.
What happens if the bump stop valve leaks?
A leaking valve lets the TF140 bump stop lose its nitrogen charge, so the unit stops resisting compression as intended. Replacing the TF140VALVE restores the ability to hold pressure, which on the TF140 is adjustable between 150 and 400 psi.
How many TF140VALVE valves are supplied?
The TF140VALVE is supplied as a single valve, servicing one TF140 bump stop unit. Order one per bump stop you're rebuilding, so match the quantity to the number of TF140 units on your vehicle.
