The reservoir sits directly on the damper body rather than on a remote hose, so the units are handed to keep the canister correctly positioned once mounted. This is the left-hand item; the right-hand equivalent is TF485RH.
How do I adjust the damping on the TF485LH?
An 8-stage damping adjuster on the reservoir sets the rate. Nitrogen pressure is factory set and isn't user-adjustable. Oil and nitrogen are separated by a floating piston, which gives the fluid capacity to resist aeration and damping fade under sustained load.
