A/C-accumulator/droger voor het koudemiddelcircuit van de airconditioning. Deze zit aan de hogedrukvloeistofzijde, na de condensor en vóór het expansieventiel.

De accumulator/droger slaat vloeibaar koudemiddel op en gebruikt een intern droogmiddel om restvocht uit het systeem te trekken, waardoor interne corrosie en de vorming van zuren en ijs bij het expansieventiel wordt voorkomen. Een geïntegreerd filterzeef vangt vuil op voordat het koudemiddel de doseeropening bereikt. Vervanging wordt aanbevolen wanneer het circuit is geopend of een belangrijk onderdeel is vervangen.
