What is this silicone turbo hose kit for?
This silicone turbo hose kit is a four-piece set that carries pressurised charge air through the turbocharger and intercooler circuit on the Td5 diesel, replacing the original rubber hoses on the Discovery 2.
Why silicone instead of rubber?
Silicone hoses withstand higher temperatures than rubber, resist oil and chemical attack, and balloon less under boost. They typically outlast the original rubber charge-air hoses.
Which model does it fit, and are clips included?
It fits the Discovery 2 (1998-2004) with the 2.5L Td5 engine, for standard and performance intercoolers. Jubilee clips aren't included, so reuse your existing clips.
