Radiatorslang onderzijde is de onderste koelvloeistofslang van het motorkoelsysteem.

Deze voert gekoelde koelvloeistof vanaf de onderste uitlaat van de radiator terug naar de inlaat van de waterpomp, waarmee het circuit wordt voltooid terwijl de pomp de stroom door de motor trekt. De slang is gevormd om tussen de radiator en de pomp te lopen en wordt aan elk uiteinde door een klem vastgehouden.

Toepassing: Td5 2.5L vijfcilinder turbodiesel.

What does the radiator bottom hose do on a Td5?
The radiator bottom hose carries cooled coolant from the radiator's lower outlet back to the water pump inlet on the 2.5L Td5 five-cylinder diesel, completing the cooling circuit. It's a moulded lower hose, shaped to route between the radiator and pump and secured by a clip at each end.
Which Land Rover does this Genuine bottom hose fit?

Why does the Td5 bottom radiator hose fail, and what are the signs?
On the Defender and Discovery 2 Td5, the bottom radiator hose typically fails as the rubber perishes with age and heat cycling, going soft or cracking at the clip ends. Watch for coolant pooling under the front of the vehicle, a falling level, or overheating. A lower-hose failure loses coolant fast, so renew it once perishing shows.
