De kit bevat de koppelingsplaat (drukgroep) en de frictieplaat. Het druklager (UUB000070) en het vliegwiel met dubbele massa zijn afzonderlijke onderdelen en zijn niet inbegrepen.

De koppelingsplaat wordt aan het vliegwiel bevestigd en de diafragmaveer klemt de frictieplaat - die is verbonden met de ingaande as van de versnellingsbak - tegen het vliegwiel om de aandrijving over te brengen; het loslaten van de koppeling maakt de frictieplaat vrij om de aandrijving te onderbreken voor het schakelen.
