The wiper spindle seal fits around the windscreen wiper spindle where it passes through the bulkhead on the Land Rover Defender. It seals the aperture against water and weather ingress at the wiper pivot, keeping rain out of the dash and bulkhead area.

This wiper spindle seal fits the Land Rover Defender dash assembly, on the 1987-2006 models from VIN 3A651794 and on the 2007-2016 Puma models from VIN 7A000001. Use your VIN to confirm the build point, as earlier chassis used a different arrangement.

How many wiper spindle seals do I need?

Fit one seal per wiper spindle, and the Defender uses them as required at each spindle passing through the bulkhead. Count the wiper spindles you're sealing and order to match. Renewing the seal is worthwhile whenever you disturb the spindle, to stop water leaks.
