Frequently asked questions

What is the LRB802 winch bumper?
The LRB802 is a front winch bumper for the Land Rover Defender that replaces the standard front bumper and adds a central platform for mounting an electric winch. It carries the winch load into the chassis front end while keeping the standard bumper function.
What does the Non-A/C version mean?
This is the non-air-conditioning version, with the winch tray positioned to suit Defenders that don't have an air conditioning condenser in the front end. That gives a more compact mounting around the standard radiator and grille. Confirm your Defender is non-A/C before ordering, as the A/C layout needs a different bumper.
How is the winch bumper fitted?
Fitting the winch bumper typically means removing the standard front bumper and bolting the new bumper to the Defender chassis front end, then mounting the winch to the central platform. It's usually a hand-tool job, though the assembly is heavy and easier with a second person.
