The M5 Nyloc nut is a self locking fastener with a nylon insert in the collar that grips the bolt thread and stops the nut backing off under vibration. It's a general purpose small fastener used across body, trim and bracket fixings.

No, Nyloc nuts are single use by design. The nylon insert deforms permanently around the thread the first time it's tightened, so a second fitting gives far less locking grip. Replace them whenever the joint is disturbed.
