Aftermarket Part
Aftermarket: Quality alternative. This is a quality alternative, designed to fit and function like the original part, often at a more competitive price.

Frequently asked questions

What is this self-tapping screw used for?
This self-tapping screw is an aftermarket general-purpose fastener for securing body, trim and panel fixings. It forms its own thread in the mounting substrate as it's driven, so there's no need for a pre-cut thread or a separate nut. It's a common service-replacement fixing across older Land Rovers.
Which Land Rover models does this screw fit?
This screw fits the Land Rover Series 2 and 3, Defender up to 2006, Discovery 2, Freelander 1 and the Range Rover Classic and P38. It's used as a general body, trim and electrical fixing, so the position varies by model and job.
How many of these screws do I need?
You'll typically need several, as panel and trim fixings usually use more than one screw. The exact number depends on the assembly you're securing. Counting the screws on the original part before ordering helps you buy the full quantity in one go.
