Lock Nut is een captive kunststof bevestigingselement (algemeen bekend als Lokut moer) dat een zelfborende schroef nr. 10 opneemt.

Het lichaam wordt in een vierkante paneelopening (7 mm) geduwd, waar de schouders het vastgrijpen om het vast te houden, waardoor een draadloze tappingsboring ontstaat waarin de schroef snijdt terwijl deze erin wordt gedraaid. Het wordt gebruikt om sierdelen en mechanismecomponenten, zoals raammechanismen van deuren, dashboardpanelen en achterklepbekleding, te bevestigen, waardoor een schroefbevestiging in dunne plaat- of gegoten panelen mogelijk is zonder een aparte contramoer.
