Schroef – een zelftappende schroef nr. 6 × 1/2 inch, gebruikt om interieurafwerking en paneelbevestigingen vast te zetten, zoals de instrumentenconsole, dashboardbekleding en bijbehorende dashboard- en verwarmingskanaaldelen.

Omdat hij zelftappend is, vormt hij zijn eigen schroefdraad in de ondergrond terwijl hij wordt ingedraaid, waardoor een voorgesneden schroefdraad of een aparte moer overbodig is. Controleer de schroefkop en de schroefdraad op slijtage of beschadiging telkens wanneer u de schroef verwijdert of terugplaatst.
