Where does this nylon stud fit, and are there VIN restrictions?

On the Land Rover Defender 1987-2006 it retains the front door casing (less speaker aperture, from VIN AA271215), and on the Range Rover Classic 1986-1991 it holds the front and intermediate floor carpets. Check your VIN for the Defender door application.
