Voorruit-timerrelais is het grijze timerrelais in het circuit van de verwarmde voorruit.

Wanneer de verwarmde voorruit wordt ingeschakeld, bekrachtigt dit relais het verwarmingselement van de voorruit en onderbreekt het automatisch de voeding na een vooraf ingesteld tijdsinterval, waardoor langdurige stroomafname op het element en de accu wordt voorkomen.
