Bovenscharnier voor de rechterdeur, vormt het bovenste draaipunt van de deur-naar-carrosseriebevestiging.

Gemonteerd als het bovenste lid van de tweekoppige scharnierset van de deur, fixeert het de bovenkant van de deur en draagt het het bovenste deel van de deurbelasting via de scharnierpen. Het wordt aan het scharniergedeelte van de carrosserie geschroefd en vormt een paar met het overeenkomstige onderscharnier om de deur uit te lijnen en te laten schommelen.
