Eén van de twee zijdelings scharnierende deurscharnieren die de achterdeur aan de carrosserieopening bevestigen. Het onderste scharnier draagt het onderste draaipunt en positioneert de deur tegen de achterstijl, in samenwerking met het bijpassende bovenste scharnier om het gewicht en de zwaai van de deur te ondersteunen.
