Remslang – 1-Ton is de flexibele slang aan de voorzijde in het hydraulische circuit van de voorrem. Deze transporteert vloeistof van de starre remleiding op het chassis naar de voorrem en buigt mee om stuur- en ophangingsbewegingen op te vangen, terwijl de leiding onder druk afgedicht blijft.

Dit is de zwaardere 1-Ton specificatie. De slang meet ongeveer 365 mm in totaal, met mannelijke schroefverbindingen aan beide uiteinden om aan te sluiten op de vrouwelijke leidingverbindingen op het voertuig.

Een remslang is een veiligheidskritisch slijtageonderdeel: de boring kan na verloop van tijd intern verdrogen of inklappen, dus deze moet worden geïnspecteerd op scheuren, zwelling en schuren en worden vervangen wanneer deze verslechterd is.
