Remslang – 1-Ton is de flexibele slang aan de voorzijde in het hydraulische circuit van de voorrem. Deze transporteert vloeistof van de stijve remleiding op het chassis naar de voorrem en buigt mee om stuurbewegingen en vering op te vangen, terwijl de leiding onder druk afgedicht blijft.

Dit is de zwaardere 1-Ton specificatie. De slang is ongeveer 365 mm lang, met aan beide uiteinden mannelijke schroefverbindingen om aan te sluiten op de vrouwelijke leidingverbindingen van het voertuig.

Een remslang is een veiligheidskritisch slijtageonderdeel: de boring kan met de leeftijd intern vergaan of inklappen, dus deze moet worden geïnspecteerd op scheuren, zwellingen en slijtage en worden vervangen wanneer deze verslechterd is.
