Wielremcilinder voor de trommelremassemblage - de linker hydraulische hulpcilinder die de remschoenen bedient. Dezelfde cilinder wordt gebruikt voor de voor- of achterpositie.

Gevoed door de remleiding van de hoofdremcilinder bewegen de zuigers van de cilinder onder hydraulische druk naar buiten om de remschoenen tegen de trommel te drukken, en trekken vervolgens terug wanneer de druk wegvalt. Een lekkende of vastzittende cilinder veroorzaakt een zacht pedaal, vloeistofverlies of een slepende rem, en wordt als complete eenheid vervangen.
