Olietemperatuurzender voor het circuit van de olietemperatuurmeter. De zender wordt in het oliepomphuis geschroefd en bevat een temperatuurgevoelig weerstandselement dat zich in de oliestroom bevindt.

De weerstand verandert met de olietemperatuur, en aangesloten op de dashboardmeter zet het die temperatuur om in het variabele elektrische signaal dat de meterstand aandrijft - waardoor de bestuurder de conditie van de motorolie kan controleren. Draadmaat 5/8 UNF.
