Gevarenlichtschakelaar – de drukknop op het dashboard die de waarschuwingsfunctie voor gevaar bedient. Wanneer deze wordt ingedrukt, knipperen alle vier de richtingaanwijzers tegelijkertijd om andere weggebruikers te waarschuwen dat het voertuig stilstaat of een gevaar vormt.

De schakelaar is in het dashboard gemonteerd en intern verlicht, en voedt het knipperlichtcircuit via de knipperlichtrelais, onafhankelijk van het contact, zodat de gevarenlichten werken als het contact is uitgeschakeld.
