What is the AEU2147LLR fuel filter element and what does it do?
The AEU2147LLR is the replaceable diesel fuel filter element. It sits inside the fuel filter housing and traps dirt, rust and water from the diesel before it reaches the injection pump and injectors. Keeping that contamination out protects the pump and injectors from wear and blockage. This is the genuine Land Rover element.
Which engine does this fuel filter element fit?
This element fits the 200 Tdi and 300 Tdi diesel engines, mounting inside the fuel filter housing upstream of the injection pump. It's the cartridge-style element that renews the filter media without replacing the whole housing. Check your housing takes an element rather than a spin-on filter.
When should the fuel filter element be replaced?
Replace the fuel filter element at each scheduled fuel system service, or sooner if you get fuel starvation symptoms like power loss, hesitation or hard starting. A clogged element restricts diesel flow to the injection pump. Renew it whenever you suspect contaminated fuel or after water has entered the system.
