Windscreensteunen - een paar CNC-gefreesde aluminium beugels met een zwarte geanodiseerde afwerking die het voorruitframe aan de onderste bevestigingspunten bevestigen, geleverd ter vervanging van de originele beugels die na verloop van tijd corroderen.

Het geanodiseerde aluminium is bestand tegen de aantasting en corrosie die de standaard geperste beugels aantast. Elk paar wordt geleverd met pakkingen en bevestigingsbouten. Bij voertuigen met een scharnierend windscherm zijn ook twee LR016671 verstevigingsbanden vereist die niet zijn inbegrepen.

What are the DA1142B windscreen brackets for?

The DA1142B are a pair of black anodised billet aluminium brackets that secure the windscreen frame at its lower mounting points on the Land Rover Defender. They replace the original pressed brackets, which corrode over time. The anodised aluminium resists the tarnishing that affects the standard parts.

Do I need anything extra to fit these brackets?

Each DA1142B pair comes with gaskets and fixing bolts. On Defenders with a hinge-type windscreen you'll also need two LR016671 reinforcement straps, which aren't included. On standard windscreens the brackets typically bolt straight to the existing lower mounting points.

What's the difference between the black aluminium and stainless steel brackets?

The DA1142B is billet aluminium with a black anodised finish, while the stainless steel version (DA1142SS) has a bright metal finish. Both fit the same lower windscreen mounting points on the Land Rover Defender and both resist the corrosion that affects the original pressed brackets. Choose on finish preference.
