LED-lichtset - een Wipac LED-lampenset met heldere lens die de standaard 73 mm buitenverlichting vervangt door LED-units.

De set bevat acht lampen plus een knipperrelais: twee voorste stadslichten, twee voorste richtingaanwijzers, twee achterste richtingaanwijzers en twee achterste rem-/achterlichten, samen met een 12V LED-knipperrelais. Het knipperrelais corrigeert de knipperfrequentie van de richtingaanwijzers voor het lagere stroomverbruik van de LED-lampen, waardoor er geen extra belastingsweerstanden nodig zijn.

De multi-voltage (9-33V) lampen hebben een heldere lens, zijn afgedicht tot IP67 en gebruiken de juiste connectoren voor plug-and-play montage op de latere fabriekskabelboom; eerdere kabelbomen kunnen een connectoradaptatie vereisen.

What is the LED Light Kit and what's included?

The LED Light Kit is a Wipac clear-lens set that replaces the standard 73mm exterior lamps with LED units on the Defender up to 2016 and Series 2 and 3. It includes eight lamps covering front sidelights, indicators and rear stop/tail lamps, plus a 12V LED flasher relay.

What does the included flasher relay do?

The flasher relay corrects the indicator flash rate for the lower current draw of the LED lamps. It removes the need to add load resistors, which LED conversions otherwise require to stop the indicators flashing too fast.

Will this LED kit fit my wiring without modification?

The kit uses the correct connectors for plug-and-play fitment to the later factory loom. Earlier looms may need connector adaptation, so check your existing lamp connectors before ordering to confirm they match.
