Achterste Aandrijfas voor de achterste aandrijflijn, die de achterste uitgaande flens van de tussenbak verbindt met het differentieel van de Salisbury achteras.

De aandrijfas brengt de aandrijving over naar de achteras via een kruiskoppeling aan elk uiteinde, met een schuivend spline-gedeelte dat de beweging van de as en de veerweg van de ophanging opvangt. Slijtage in de kruiskoppelingen of schuivende splines manifesteert zich als trillingen in de aandrijflijn of een klap bij het aangrijpen.

Gemonteerd op 300 TDi en Td5-toepassingen.
