Achterste aandrijfas voor de achterste aandrijflijn, verbindt de achterste uitgaande flens van de tussenbak met het differentieel van de Salisbury achteras.

De aandrijfas brengt de aandrijving over naar de achteras via een kruiskoppeling aan elk uiteinde, met een schuivend spiebaanprofiel dat de asbeweging en veerweg opvangt. Slijtage aan de kruiskoppelingen of schuivende spiebanen uit zich als trillingen in de aandrijflijn of een klonk bij het optrekken.

Gemonteerd op 300 TDi en Td5-toepassingen.
