Kardanbout - een bevestigingsmiddel dat de kruiskoppelingflens van de cardanas aan de aandrijfflens van het differentieel binnen de aandrijflijn bevestigt.

Het klemt de tegenover elkaar liggende flensvlakken samen, zodat het aandrijfkoppel van de cardanas naar de as wordt overgebracht. Geleverd als een enkele bout met een 3/8" UNF-draad; er worden er meerdere gebruikt om elke flensverbinding te maken.
