Borgring buitenste naaf voor de voorste en achterste naafconstructie van Land Rover vaste assen.

Deze borgring beveiligt de borgmoer van het naaflager tegen rotatie, handhaaft de juiste lagerinstelling en voorkomt dat de moer losraakt tijdens gebruik. Een nok op de ring rust tegen de spindel en vergrendelt de moer in positie zodra deze is ingesteld op de juiste lagervoorbelasting.

The 217353 Outer Hub Lock Washer prevents the hub bearing retaining nut from backing off on the front and rear hubs of Series and early Defender Land Rovers. A tab on the washer locates against the spindle and locks the nut at the correct bearing preload setting.

Does the 217353 fit all Defender variants?

On the Defender it fits front and rear hubs up to VIN KA930455 only. Defenders built from VIN LA930456 onwards use a different hub lock washer. Range Rover Classic is covered with and without ABS across the full production range.
