De aandrijfflens monteert op het differentieelrondsel en biedt het geschroefde koppelingsoppervlak dat de achterste cardanas verbindt met het differentieel, waardoor de aandrijving wordt overgebracht terwijl de uitgaande as van het rondsel wordt gepositioneerd.
