The FRC2310 is a stub axle locking plate. It sits behind the stub axle retaining bolts on the front or rear axle, and its tabs bend over to stop the bolts working loose, holding the stub axle to the swivel or axle case.

How many FRC2310 plates are needed?

The FRC2310 is fitted at the stub axle, one plate per stub axle position, and it's sold singly. Order the number your job needs. Being a locking plate, it should be renewed rather than reused whenever the stub axle bolts come out.

Can the FRC2310 locking plate be reused?

No, the FRC2310 locking plate is single-use. Once the tabs are bent over the bolt heads and later flattened to remove, the metal is fatigued and can crack. Fit a new plate every time you undo the stub axle bolts so the fixings stay locked.
