This is the clutch driven plate for the 4.0 V8 petrol with manual transmission. The friction plate is splined to the gearbox input shaft and clamped between the flywheel and the pressure plate, transmitting engine torque to the transmission when the clutch is engaged. Fitted to the Discovery 2.
How many clutch plates does this application use?
This application uses two driven plates per vehicle on the 4.0 V8 Discovery 2, so order a quantity of two for a complete clutch replacement. Fitting a single plate won't complete the job on this twin-plate setup.
Has this clutch plate been superseded?
