The JFF000120 is the air distribution control cable for the Defender heater. It links the heater control on the facia to the air distribution flap, so moving the control directs airflow inside the heater unit.
Can the heater cable be replaced at home?
It's a moderate DIY job. The cable routes behind the facia to the heater box, so you typically need to remove trim to reach both ends and set the flap position correctly on refitting. Facia access is the main challenge.
