Terugslagklep voor de V8 benzinemotor, gemonteerd op de vacuümtoevoer van het inlaatspruitstuk.

De klep laat lucht één richting op vanuit het vacuümcircuit naar het spruitstuk stromen, terwijl terugstroming wordt geblokkeerd, zodat vacuüm behouden blijft in de rembekrachtigerleiding wanneer het spruitstukvacuüm daalt. Dit handhaaft de rembekrachtiging onder belasting. Een defecte klep lekt vacuüm, wat een hard rempedaal en verlies van bekrachtiging veroorzaakt.
