Motorkap onderafdichting is een rubberen afdichtstrip die langs de afwateringsgoot van het schutbord onder de achterrand van de motorkap past en de verbinding tussen de afwateringsgoot en de onderkant van de motorkap overbrugt om te voorkomen dat water uit de afwateringsgoot de motorruimte binnendringt.

De afdichting raakt de onderkant van de motorkap wanneer deze gesloten is, waardoor water van de motorruimte wordt weggeleid.
