The door bottom seal is a rubber strip that fits along the lower edge of the front door, closing the gap between the door bottom and the body. It keeps out water, draughts and road noise on Series 2/3 and Defender up to 2016.

How many door bottom seals do I need?

One door bottom seal is needed per door. If both front doors are draughty or letting in water, it's common to replace them as a pair so both sides seal evenly against the body.
