Overcentre-sluiting - een veervastgezette knevelsluiting die wordt gebruikt voor het beveiligen van scharnierende deksels, kappen en toegangspanelen.

Wanneer de hendel voorbij het midden wordt gedraaid, trekt de verbinding het paneel strak en houdt het onder spanning. Deze over-centre werking voorkomt losraken door trillingen en houdt de sluiting rammelvrij tijdens gebruik.
