This lower radiator hose fits the Defender 90/110 (1987-2006) with the 2.5 petrol or 2.5 naturally aspirated diesel engine, up to VIN 261252. Check your VIN against that ceiling, as later cooling routing differs.
When should the lower radiator hose be replaced?
Replace the lower radiator hose when the rubber cracks, swells or softens on the Defender 90/110. A perished bottom hose can collapse under pump suction or split under pressure, causing coolant loss and overheating.
