Nylocmoer met M10 schroefdraad - de borgmoer met nylon inzetstuk die wordt gebruikt bij U-bevestigingen.

Een nylon kraag die in de bovenkant van de moer is geplaatst, klemt de boutdraad vast wanneer de moer wordt aangedraaid, waardoor losraken door trillingen wordt voorkomen zonder een aparte borgring. Dit formaat past bij M10 U-bouten en handhaaft de klemkracht die ze uitoefenen.

Can the M10 Nyloc nut be reused?

M10 Nyloc nuts are typically single-use. Once the nylon collar has been deformed by the thread, its locking ability drops, so fit new nuts when refitting a U-bolt. Reusing them on a U-bolt fixing risks the clamp loosening under vibration.
