Frequently asked questions

What does the PEH101110 bottom radiator hose do?
The PEH101110 is the lower radiator hose on the Discovery 2. It carries cooled coolant from the radiator bottom outlet back to the coolant pump inlet, completing the lower leg of the coolant flow path. It's moulded to hold its routing under engine bay heat.
Does this bottom hose fit every Discovery 2?
This bottom hose fits the Discovery 2 (1998-2004) from VIN (V)3A onward. The lower hose changed during production, so vehicles before that VIN break use a different hose. Check your VIN to confirm you're on the later version before ordering.
What are the signs this bottom radiator hose needs replacing?
Coolant pooling under the front of the vehicle, bulging, or a hose that's hard or spongy when squeezed typically mean the bottom hose has perished. A lower hose failure loses coolant quickly and can overheat the engine, so replace it at the first leak.
