What does the RTC6666 water pump do?
The RTC6666 water pump circulates coolant through the 2.5L VM turbo-diesel engine fitted to the Range Rover Classic (1986-1994). It moves coolant through the block, cylinder head and radiator to hold the engine at its correct operating temperature and prevent overheating.
Where is the water pump located on the 2.5L VM diesel?
The water pump mounts at the front of the 2.5L VM diesel engine and is typically driven by the auxiliary belt. It feeds coolant from the radiator into the engine block, forming part of the coolant circulation circuit on the Range Rover Classic.
What are the signs the water pump needs replacing?
